Who controls your data
SiaSol is the controller of the personal data this site collects. The registered entity, its commercial register number and its registered address are being confirmed with counsel in Egypt and in Saudi Arabia, and all three will be named here in full before this notice is published as final. Until that happens, every request about your own data reaches us at the address in the contact section below, and is answered by a named person on our side rather than by a shared queue.
Information we collect
We collect what you type into a form on this site: your name, your work email, your company and whatever you write in the message field. We also collect the pages you visit and the approximate region a request comes from, which is derived from your network address, is held apart from the form entries, and is never stored beside your name.
How we use your information
We use it to answer you, to send the report or the assessment you asked for, and to keep a record of what we promised and when. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not use it to train a model. If we ever want it for something that is not on this list, we will ask you first and we will wait for the answer.
Cookies and analytics
With your consent we set analytics cookies, and nothing else. They tell us which pages are read, which are abandoned and which assessment questions people stop on, and they are read in aggregate rather than per person. We set no advertising cookies, we run no third-party pixel and we hand your behaviour to no advertising network, which is a choice rather than an oversight: this site sells engineering, and it does not need to follow you to do that. Your consent can be withdrawn from the banner at any time, and withdrawing it turns the measurement off rather than degrading the site, because every page here works without a single cookie set. Our servers also keep an ordinary request log for security and for working out why something broke, and those entries hold a truncated network address, a timestamp and the path requested. They are kept for a short, fixed window, still with counsel.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make this site run, which today means our hosting provider, our email provider and our analytics provider, and each of them sees only what it needs for its own job. If a provider changes, this section changes with it, on the date at the top.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as the purpose it was given for needs it, and then we delete it. The exact period per category is being set with counsel and will be stated here as a number of months.
Your rights and consent
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to a particular use of it. You can also withdraw a consent you gave earlier without giving a reason. Write to the address below and we will answer within thirty days, and we will tell you plainly if a request is one we cannot act on, why, and what we did instead, in writing rather than on a call.
Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our practices or the law change, and the date at the top of the page is the date of the version you are reading. A material change is announced on the site rather than slipped in.
